Payment methods that work
Almost every Lotus365 deposit is made through UPI, because it is instant, works around the clock and leaves a clear reference number. Any UPI app linked to your own bank account will do. The common ones are:
- PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm — scan a QR code or pay to a UPI ID shared in the chat.
- BHIM — the NPCI app works the same way and is handy if your bank's own app is slow.
- Your bank's app — most banks have UPI built in, which avoids a third-party wallet entirely.
- IMPS or NEFT bank transfer — useful for larger amounts that cross your UPI app's daily cap. IMPS is usually instant; NEFT can take longer.
Wallet balances (money sitting inside Paytm, for example, rather than in your bank) may not be accepted for every payment detail. If you plan to use one, ask first. Card payments are generally not used for betting IDs in India, so do not enter card details anywhere for this purpose.
One reminder before money changes hands: you must be 18 or over, and online betting laws vary by Indian state. Some states ban it, so check where you stand before depositing.
Making a deposit
- Ask for current payment details in your WhatsApp chat. Details rotate between accounts, so an old QR code from last week may no longer be valid.
- Pay from an account in your own name. This matters later, when you withdraw.
- Save the UTR number. Every UPI payment generates a unique transaction reference, usually 12 digits. It is in the payment's detail screen in your app.
- Send the screenshot and UTR in the same chat. The team matches it against incoming payments and adds the credits to your ID.
- Check your balance after logging in. If it does not match the amount paid, reply in the chat with the UTR again rather than paying a second time.
Deposits are usually credited within a few minutes when the UTR is clear. Delays happen when the screenshot is cropped, the UTR is missing, the payment went to an outdated UPI ID, or a bank's server is running slowly. Sending the same payment proof twice does not speed things up, but a short polite reminder after fifteen minutes is perfectly fine.
If you are new and have not opened an ID yet, the step-by-step ID guide covers the very first deposit in the context of setting up your account.
Requesting a withdrawal
Withdrawals are requested from your account or through the WhatsApp chat, depending on how your ID is set up. You will need to share the bank account or UPI ID where you want the money, and the account holder's name.
The name-match rule
The payout account must be in the same name as the person who holds the ID. Requests to pay a spouse, parent, friend or business account are refused. It can feel strict, but it is the single best protection against a stolen login being emptied into somebody else's account. The team may ask you to confirm the name once before your first payout.
Typical timings
| Situation | What usually happens |
|---|---|
| Regular request, account already verified | Processed after a quick check; often within the same session |
| First withdrawal on a new ID | Name check first, so allow extra time |
| Large amount | May be split into parts or sent by IMPS; ask the team |
| Late night, bank holiday or big match day | Slower because of volume and bank-side delays |
Exact limits, minimums and processing windows are set by the business and do change, so ask in the chat rather than relying on a number you saw elsewhere. No reputable provider can promise every payout in minutes, and you should be wary of anyone who does.
Why a payout gets held
Most held withdrawals have a simple cause. The common ones are:
- Name mismatch between the ID holder and the receiving account.
- Deposit not yet confirmed, for example when the original payment is still pending on the bank's side.
- Bonus or promotion terms that require a certain amount of play before winnings can be withdrawn. Ask the team to explain any terms attached to your ID.
- Unsettled bets, such as an open exchange market, which keep part of the balance locked as liability.
- Unusual activity, like several IDs paying out to the same account, which triggers a manual review.
- Bank-side issues, including a frozen account, wrong IFSC or a UPI ID that has been deactivated.
If a payout is held, ask the team in the chat for the reason and what they need from you. Keep your messages to one thread so the history stays in one place.
Failed UPI payments and refunds
Sometimes money leaves your bank but the UPI app shows "pending" or "failed". In most cases the payment never reached the other side and your bank reverses it automatically. NPCI rules require banks to auto-reverse failed UPI debits within a set number of working days, and many reversals happen within hours.
- Wait for the status to settle. Do not pay again while the first payment shows pending.
- If the status changes to success, send the UTR in the chat as normal.
- If it stays failed and the money has not returned, raise a complaint inside your UPI app using the "help" or "raise dispute" option on that transaction.
- If the app does not resolve it, contact your bank with the UTR and date.
The Lotus365 team can confirm whether a payment arrived on its side, which helps you decide whether the issue is with your bank.
Payment scams to avoid
- Unknown numbers offering "new payment details". Only use details given in your existing chat. Scammers copy profile pictures and names.
- Collect requests. A UPI "collect" request asks you to approve a debit. If you did not start the payment, decline it.
- Requests for your UPI PIN or OTP. Entering your PIN sends money; it is never needed to receive money. No genuine support person will ask for it.
- "Unlock fee" or "tax" to release a withdrawal. Treat any demand for extra payment before a payout with suspicion and confirm it in your original chat.
- Screen-sharing apps. Never install one at someone's request during a payment issue.
Money you deposit should only be money you can afford to lose. Common questions about IDs and payments are also answered on the FAQ page, and if betting is putting pressure on your finances, the responsible gaming page has free support options.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find the UTR number for a UPI payment?
Open the payment in your UPI app history and look for UTR, UPI reference number or transaction ID. It is usually a 12-digit number. Share it in the WhatsApp chat along with the screenshot.
Can I withdraw to my brother or friend’s account?
No. Withdrawals go only to a bank account or UPI ID in the same name as the ID holder. This protects you if someone else gets access to your login.
How long does a withdrawal take?
Most requests are handled within a short time once checked, but it depends on the time of day, the amount and your bank. Late nights, bank holidays and big match days can be slower.
What is the minimum deposit or withdrawal?
Minimums and maximums are set by the business and can change. Ask the Lotus365 team in the chat for the current figures before you pay.
